I seem to be in a hyper-blogging mood today so I'm gonna put out a puff-piece for one of my baits for July.
"Other World" is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and stars Joaquin Phoenix (right) as a Philadelphia lawyer who dies in a car crash and is given another chance by a man (Ron Rifkin) to live his life again in another dimension to make things right with the things he screwed up before he died.
Phoenix's character is forced to adapt to his new life, which is drastically different from his previous and endure pains that he has never experienced. It is a heartwrenching drama in the vein of "The Sixth Sense" and hopefully it will garner enough awards attention in next month's contest.
