"Border Man" is directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and written by Guillermo Arriaga. It stars Tom Berenger as Dennis, a New Mexico Border Patrol official who suffers from nightmares about his death. He is also leading an investigation against a drug trafficker who moves heroin through illegal immigrants. One day he finds a drug runner (Maribal Verdu) and immediately falls for her. He takes the Mexican woman into hiding and begins a secret love affair while the drug lord wants his girl back and Dennis's alcoholic partner begins to suspect his best friend of something rotten. What transpires is shocking, heartbreaking, and ultimately tragic.

Now that's balls casting Tom Berenger. I think I've seen him in one, maybe two baits. But I can definately picture him in that character. Odd but brilliant makes for best casting choices.
